Jackie Roth, MSW, LSWAIC, SUDP
For more than 15 years, I have worked in the human services field, beginning my career as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) and now holding dual credentials as both an SUDP and a Clinical Social Worker Associate (LSWAIC). My work is centered on helping people navigate life’s challenges and transitions with support, clarity, and compassion. I believe that everyone holds an inner capacity for healing and growth, and I strive to create a space where that capacity can emerge and strengthen.

The North Star serves as a guiding metaphor for my work and inspired the name of my practice, North Star Counseling & Wellness. Just as the North Star remains a constant in a shifting night sky, my practice provides a stable and reliable presence for clients navigating the complexities of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. It reflects my commitment to clarity, purpose, and unwavering support, helping clients find direction when life feels uncertain. This guiding light embodies hope and aligns with my core values of empathy, integrity, and holistic care, ensuring that both I and those I serve remain oriented toward growth, healing, and meaningful transformation.
About Me
Living in the Pacific Northwest has shaped so much of who I am. I’m happiest when I’m outside, hiking, exploring, near the ocean, or traveling to new places and experiencing different landscapes. I also enjoy the challenge and consistency of CrossFit, which helps keep me grounded. Time with my family is something I deeply value, and it’s an important part of what keeps me centered.
